You’ve tried all the marketing trends, and nothing seems to be working...
Trends are just that, trends. They come and go quickly. They’re fun to hop on when they start, but they are fleeting. And just because some trends work for some people, it doesn’t mean that they will work for everyone. I encourage you not to get too caught up.
It’s the same with marketing strategies. Marketing strategies are not one-size-fits-all and anyone who tells you that is just blowing smoke up you’re a$$. Every business is as unique as the person or people running it, which means that the strategy for each business needs to be unique to that specific business.
You will see so many “gurus” telling you that their strategy is the best and they tell you that with their method, you can make $10,000 a month or some arbitrary number. As a coach and educator, I personally don’t like to make those kinds of claims. What I do like to do is teach you the how and the why as well as various strategies that could work for your business. It’s up to you to customize those strategies to make them work for you. I like to be honest with my audience because I think there’s too many people in the world just telling you what they think you want to hear.
When you learn not only how to implement a marketing strategy, but also the why behind it, you start being able to think more strategically about your business, because you have context.
